Introduction
Hello, everyone, I am Joey, an English storytelling social robot. I mainly work with K2 to P3 children in kindergartens and primary schools in Hong Kong. In the following, I will give a brief description of my features and related research findings.

Automated language learning strategy using storytelling and retelling methods

Performs social skills like facial expression and gestures for interactive communication

AI-powered backend system generates customized learning content for teachers with story audio, illustrations and comprehension questions

Offers multi-sensory and personalized learning via interactive co-telling and co-creation of stories



Captures verbal and physical instructions to provide scaffolded assistance and feedback for improvement in story retelling
